Fees and the scope of work depend on the matter, record, urgency, forum and work required. The office discusses those issues before confirming an engagement.
Initial contact
A short, non-confidential description can help the office identify the type and location of the matter and whether a consultation can be arranged.
Fees and Legal Aid
The office will explain any consultation or retainer requirements that apply. The firm accepts Legal Aid in British Columbia and Alberta.
When an engagement begins
No engagement is created by visiting the site, calling, emailing or submitting a form. A retainer exists only after the firm confirms it can act and its engagement requirements are completed.
